                        and meet with accompanists; Student competition times are

     to                scheduled and solo competitors meet with their accompanists for

                        rehearsal.  Vendors exhibits open.

to 5:00 p.m.            (High & Low Horn) competitions begin. 

 

2:00 p.m.            Lecture: The Mechanical and Physical Aspects of the Lip Trill

                        Presented by Christopher Smith, Prof. of Horn, Texas Tech Univ.

3:00 p.m.            Lecture: Stretch & Strengthen to Prevent Injury

                        Presented by Jill Pospisil, Duluth Symphony Orchestra

                        Room C 9 (In the Basement – directions will be posted)

                        Please bring loose, comfortable clothing for this session

                        as there will be a great deal of movement and stretching.
